Sunset Over The Colorado Rocky Mountains

June 1, 2007 - I drove out to the end of
Chaffee County Road 337 and wasn't expecting much based on what I
saw looking west over the mountains. Soon however, things started to get interesting as seen in the adjacent photo!
The clouds began to turn brighter and more orange.
The, the views to the south (left) and southwest (right) became
interesting. Some of the clouds turned pink and Mt. Princeton looked really pretty.
The most colorful moment of tonight's sunset.
A final burst of pink and orange.
