Another Beautiful Sunset at Cottonwood Pass, Colorado
(Photos - June 24, 2007)
Cottonwood Pass, a spot along the Continental Divide
west of Buena Vista, has become my most well-visited spot for
photographing the sunset. Last night, I arrived early with some
mexican food to go and a cigar as I watched the sun slowly set.
Adjacent are five photos of the same general view looking out
west towards Gunnison County. It sure was pretty!
To the north, these swirl-shaped clouds were quite nice!
And for a short while, the clouds turned peak on the east side of the divide.
Ice Mountain (right peak) had some really pretty clouds behind it as well. What a night! :)
